1. What StakeCV is
StakeCV (stakecv.com) is a real estate marketplace that connects buyers, tenants and investors with real estate agencies, developers and owners in Cape Verde. StakeCV does not own the listed properties nor does it act as a party in purchase, sale or rental transactions: it acts as an intermediary that puts the parties in touch.
2. Free to use for buyers and tenants
Using StakeCV is completely free for buyers, tenants and investors. No monthly fee or commission is charged to anyone looking for a property.
3. Model for those listing a property
For agencies, developers or owners listing properties through StakeCV, the service works exclusively on a commission-on-closing model — no monthly fee or listing charge applies. By listing a property, the lister expressly accepts: (a) that any deal generated through a StakeCV lead is subject to payment of the agreed commission; (b) that StakeCV tracks leads generated for a period of 12 months from first contact; and (c) the obligation to declare to StakeCV any deal closed through the platform. These conditions are documented through explicit, timestamped acceptance in the listing form.
4. Accuracy of published information
Whoever lists a property is responsible for ensuring the information (price, location, features, ownership and legal status) is accurate and up to date. StakeCV may remove any listing it considers misleading, incomplete, or non-compliant with these terms.
5. Limitation of liability
StakeCV facilitates contact between parties but does not take part in negotiations, contract signing, payments or any other aspect of the final transaction. Any purchase, sale or rental agreement is made directly between the buyer/tenant and the agency, developer or owner, under their sole responsibility.
6. User accounts
To express interest in a property, registration with real contact details (name, email and phone) is required. The user is responsible for the accuracy of this data and for keeping their access confidential.
7. Changes
StakeCV may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Relevant changes will be announced on the website itself.
